We all get chicken craves, but most of us stop short of breaking the law to fulfill it.
One driver in Western Australia did just that on Monday evening, driving through a red-faced traffic light and property themselves a A $300( US $226) penalty in the process.
“I’m in a rush to get the children Nando’s, ” the driver replied, according to the ticket WA Police posted on their Twitter report. Seems this family can’t get enough of that peri-peri chicken goodness.
But for police, “there is simply no excuse” when it comes to committing traffic misdemeanours. Fair enough. Although a desperate need for Nando’s is a reasonably novel one.
For those who aren’t familiar, Nando’s is an~ iconic~ Portuguese rotisserie chain that’s popular in the UK( hence the slang term “cheeky Nando’s” ), Australia and parts of Africa.
If you haven’t tried it, “youve been” don’t know what you’re missing. People go mad for their red-hot sauces, sometimes so much so that they ruin dates. \ _() _/
