Organic. What’s the phase any more?

So when I first started working on farms organic meant something. It entailed a higher price per lb and not handling to much noxious chemicals. But as I’ve expanded my farm the one thing I “ve noticed” is what’s the fucking point. Distributors don’t pay more, eateries don’t pay more, and costumers at the market are just looking for the cheapest product. But I’ll end up paying way more for everything else. There seems to not really be a pay off any more at least in my region it’s almost like it’s a trend on the way out and now the new thing is Aquaponics or hydro. Just wondering if my area is just special or what.
